Introduction to Public Procurement

 

Special Field of Expertise

Dana has in depth knowledge on centralised procurement and is expert of harmonisation of national laws with European law / Acquis Communautaire. She has expertise in the European integration processes and legal implications for persons and private or public organizations. She also acts as a lecturer for the BBG’s Public Procurement Academy. She has excellent know-how on European Union Law (including public procurement law), on strategy development and institutional building and is actively involved in the drafting of EU legislation on public procurement.

Dana has organised and conducted study visits for procurement specialists from Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Moldova, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and also acted as a short term expert in several twinning and TA projects in Ukraine, Romania, Croatia etc.

Furthermore she has vast experience in conceptualising and delivering public procurement trainings, legal consultation, drafting of reports, preparing tender documentation, guidelines and manuals on procurement procedures, planning and delivering trainings.
