Special Field of Expertise

Johannes Michel is currently working for the Competence Centre for Sustainable Procurement (KNB) at the Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Germany. The Competence Centre supports German public buyers in the broad context of sustainable procurement. Johannes Michel is providing trainings and consultancy to public procurers with a focus on environmental and social aspects, such as human rights. At KNB, his main fields of activity include e-mobility and life cycle costing.  He previously worked in international project management in the field of renewable energy and sustainable transport, for example for the Agency for Renewable Resources or the German Solar Association.
