Legal Framework of Public Procurement

 

Special Field of Expertise

Member of Legal Department; responsible for the legal correctness of all procurement procedures executed by BBG as well as for analysis of current and draft public procurement law.

Klaus has more than 20 years of experience in the field of public procurement at the Computer Center of the Municipial Government of the City of Vienna (years as head of the purchasing department and the Austrian Central Purchasing Body (BBG). Professional experience as member of several procurement projects. Project member in EU projects and EU promoted and sponsored projects.

Lecturer for BBG’s in-house training program for new and experienced employees as well and external seminars for experts.

Klaus is certified in several procurement courses and advanced trainings and graduated at the University of Vienna.
