Special Field of Expertise

Michaela Matzinger is an expert in developing in-house trainings and responsible for the training and further education of BBG employees. In this function, she is also in charge of the implementation and further development of BBG’s internal seminar programmes such as the onboarding programme and the certificate course where BBG employees acquire the qualification “Public Purchaser”.

She has more than 30 years of professional experience, with more than 20 years’ experience as a strategic purchaser in an international company or as head of purchasing and logistics in a pharma company in Austria. For more than 10 years she has been part of the trainer team in the economic development institute (WIFI) in Vienna where she teaches trainee buyers the basics of purchasing.

In addition, she has experience working as a solution-focused coach. Solution focus refers to coach being able to concentrate on finding out what the clients are looking for, look for things that make the client confident that they can get there and define steps into that direction. She is always focused on supporting others in their personal and professional development in a more “personalised” form through coaching.
